Esquisse Tbilisi

Esquisse boutique hotel and wine saloon is a modern space with patrimonial household antique details, which includes 76 bedrooms, wine restaurant and a courtyard with a terrace, which was inspired by the history of Plexanovi area and its aristocrat residents.

Located in a 1825 ancestral house, whose details are still preserved as the outside elements of the antique façade, Esquisse boutique Hotel is located in 19th century typical Bohemian neighborhood of Tbilisi- Marjanishvili street, couple of meters away from the house-museum of Ilia Chavchavadze and a kilometer away from Kote Marjanishvili theater.The pride of the house is evidently the courtyard area which is presented as a mini terrace with a garden and represents a vital part of the scenery.

Agmashenebeli avenue, which is couple of meters away from the building, is ideal for shopping and dining, as well as for attending theater plays and museums.With the direct lines of the metro you can get to the city center, or you can take a taxi, which will allow you to get to the ancient district of the city and the main tourist areas in 3-10 minutes.

Wine Saloon

In the basement of the hotel, guests will find the “Esquisse” wine salon, the menu of which is designed by Tamta Kikaleishvili- a favorite chef of the new Georgian gastronomic scene – who loves to combine classic, real Georgian regional cuisine and modern cuisine Along with modern Georgian dishes, guests can enjoy a list of specially selected wines made by rare winemakers and wine artists in rural areas, who have passed down from generation to generation the traditions of making wine in “Qvevri” (original Georgian underground clay pots dating back to the 8th century BC).

Lobby Lounge

Located on the first floor, the lobby area has a garden-terrace exit, is open 24/7, with various concept books, newspapers and workspace.

Esquisse restaurant offers 3 distinct spaces, where you can enjoy the signature Esquisse food and drinks menu. Our brand chef Tamta Kikaleishvili has created traditional Georgian cuisine menu with a twist of modern features and a personal note. Dining areas include the first floor area which is inspired by 19th century bohemian aristocratic Georgian House, and a wine saloon area.

A continental breakfast, with a local hue, is served in the cafeteria-tea room on the first floor every morning, from 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Breakfast also includes hot drinks (tea, coffee), juices, cereals, jams and pastries.
