Esquisse Boutique Hotel and Wine Cellar is a new boutique design hotel located in the heart of historical town of Telavi, a well-known Georgian wine settlement in Kakheti. (10-minute walk from the city center)

Esquisse Telavi is presented with a spectacular outdoor space, including an immense outdoor swimming pool and wine cellar area. New getaway destination includes 57 spacious conceptual rooms,2 exquisite and elegant restaurants, enormous Conference hall, relaxing library area, and a wine cellar with modern Georgian features.

Some bedrooms feature panoramic views on Alazani Valley and the Caucasus Mountain range of Georgia, while some rooms are overlooking the swimming pool and the beautiful garden of the hotel.

Wine Cellar

Georgian wine is authentic with its Qvevri wine-making method. The unique technology of national winemaking in Georgia is linked to the traditional egg-shaped vessel-Qvevri, which is the oldest winemaking method in the world. You can see 16 of them in hotel Esquisse’s wine cellar. Qvevri is hidden in the ground which is then used for making and storing wine. In this unique vessel, wine is made with ancient Georgian Traditional Method and it gives the wine a special color, aroma, and taste.
In Esquisse wine cellar you can find a unique wine gallery with rich assortments of Georgian wine. Every Guest in our hotel will have an opportunity to be introduced to the history of how the “drink of gods” is created and a chance to taste a diverse variety of red and white wines.
And above all, the guests can enjoy traditional Georgian dishes in our Marani restaurant, which offers wine-tasting and masterclass sessions as well.

While we offer our immense and dazzling Conference hall, Amphitheater, beautiful garden, Georgian space with sitting areas, you can plan any event suitable to Esquisse Hotel’s ravishing spaces.

Our conference hall is located on the east side of our garden alley and accommodates 100-120 persons. We can organize a different kind of room set-ups, Theater style for large sessions that don’t require intensive notetaking, Hollow square appropriate for interactive discussions, Classroom style for medium and large-size lectures, U-shape and T-shape styles for groups. Our meeting room is surrounded by a beautiful wine lobby and seating area, where conference participants can relax during the breaks and enjoy with coffee break, lunch, and dinner.

Restaurant

Food and wine always go hand in hand and Hotel Esquisse is good at doing both. The two Restaurants in the hotel are conceptually different: One serving as a Georgian fusion restaurant, yet another focusing on Georgian national dishes. The groceries are entirely natural and organic, produced by a local countryman. Different masterclasses and wine tastings are offered. All the guests in Esquisse Boutique Hotel can enjoy a great continental breakfast, with a large range of freshly prepared products and warm dishes.

Esquisse Swimming Pool is a treasure for those who value the real beauty of outdoor exterior design. Its elements and details make its appearance exceedingly remarkable and memorable. This 21 meter long swimming pool leaves the impression of what a modern but still classy and chic design looks like.

The 45 sq.m Esquisse Suite is inspired by handmade Central Asian textile- Suzani, which gives the bedroom an exquisite appearance and sharpness. Two interconnecting rooms include a living room with Esquisse signature sofa bed, and a bedroom with a balcony. The spectacular sight of Mount Caucasus and coutryard gardens brightens up the bedroom spaces.
